Be prepared Veyron Tremendous Sports: SSC is working on a brand new project!

Some weeks ago, with representatives of the Guinness book of records & Italian Technical Inspection Agency (TÜV), Pierre Henri Raphanel, the official check driver from Bugatti managed to accomplish 267.81 mph with the Bugatti SuperSport – a new world record.
But - the American-built SSC Final Aero which held the quickest production automobile time at 256mph for 3 years, is working on a new project.
When the Final Aero broke the record in 2007, they knew it was a matter of time until it was broken by someone else.
Fascinating fact is that Jason Castriota – responsible for both the Bertone Mantide & Pininfarina P4/5 – will be the chief designer.
We’ve been working on a new project to debut before the finish of the summer. Not much can be said at this time except that we’ll be upping the ante on all fronts. Having famed American designer Jason Castriota as our lead design allows SSC to reflect its engineer & performance in its aesthetics. It’s impossible for us to be more thrilled about having him on board & we’re anxious to show the world what they have up our sleeve.
