I've just thinking about Bugatti Veyron and the question Why should someone buy Veyron instead of Lamborghini? Lamborghini has the prestige, bull-rock engine sound and also very comparable technical stats. Its design is timeless and unique.
What does Veyron have? A little better technical stats, worst road grip and much much higher price. Is it enough to be so chanting sports car? I don't think so.
The true is that Veyron is very good sports car, but for what price with what results. It's engine is more powerful than swedisch Koenigsegg and that car is really kick ass. It has many pros but also many cons, some say that Veyron is piece of trash some that this car is the way of automotive future development.
My opinion is somewhere is the middle. Bugatti Veyron is good car, but its price is too high and that makes Veyron maybe cool car, but not a star.
